The base model BMWs lack an amplifier, while others lack the latest DSP technology. BMW drivers have a premium car with a sub standard audio system.

The key differences in our kits is the wiring you need to make it all plug and play. The most popular BMW audio wiring kits are:
Base model Pre 2019 (no tweeters in the mirror backs in the front, no amplifier) = TS BASE Wiring kit
HIFI 676 Pre 2019 (Tweeters in the mirror backs, does have an amplifier, usually in the boot on the left hand side panel) = MPK-BMWM6
RAM Post 2019 (As above base or hifi, but requires different wiring than above, our kits for RAM vehicles are supplied with COMPS for the front and if your vehicle is a base model, you will need to obtain the missing tweeter panel from BMW as a spare part.) = MPK-BMWM6-RAM
Stage 1. Our stage 1 upgrade kits are to replace just the door speakers front and rear. This will make a big difference over the standard speakers for sound quality. The fronts are the Musway CSB4.2C component OR CSB4.2X coax speakers PLUS CSB4.2X for the rears, Note: If your vehicle does not have separate tweeters already the panel can be purchased from your BMW dealer as a spare part.
Both the CSB4.2C and CSB4.2X are specifically designed to work in BMW and BMW Mini vehicles with plug and play connections and mounting brackets for easy installation.
Stage 2 is focusing on just the front speakers CSB4.2C component speakers or CSB4.2X (no rears are supplied) and our CSB-8W underseat 2 ohm subwoofers. The subwoofers being 2ohm cannot work off the headunit power on the base model and will require amplification that is 2ohm stable. This means you can fit them to your car with any RAM system or Hifi pre 2019 but not the base model audio pre 2019 unless you have already fitted an aftermarket amplifier. The CSB8W subwoofer is 8” fiberglass cone compared to your 6” paper cone, hits harder, is more accurate, better sound quality and can be driven louder than the OEM subs without distortion.
Stage 3 is the same as stage 2 but includes the rear coaxial speakers.
Stage 4 is our first kit with the DSP Amplifier. This kit is suitable only for the Base model BMWs (Pre 2019 or RAM) that do not wish to add separate tweeters. The CSB4.2X Coaxial speakers are fitted to the front doors, our Musway 2ohm subwoofers CSB-8W and our Musway M6v3 DSP 6 channel amplifier, to make it all work, the Pre 2019 BASE Wiring kit (inclusive of the plug and play split wiring for the subwoofers to be separated onto their own channel from the door speakers) or the MPK-BMWM6-RAM kit is supplied. The MW6.3KIT amplifier fitting kit is provided to the RAM kit due to the greater distance from the battery on the OEM wiring alone.
Stage 5 is the same as stage 4 but with separate tweeters for the front doors. CSB4.2C component speakers for the front doors, our Musway 2ohm subwoofers CSB-8W and our Musway M6v3 DSP 6 channel amplifier, to make it all work, the vehicle specific harness MPK-BMWM6 is provided for the HIFI models pre 2019 and the Base pre 2019 receives our BASE plug and play wiring kit inclusive of the Subwoofer wiring as in stage 4 to separate the audio signal from the doors, to allow the subwoofers to receive their own channels of power from the amplifier. The MW6.3KIT amplifier fitting kit is included in the HIFI and RAM systems.
Stage 6 is the same as stage 4 but with added rear coaxial speakers.
This kit is suitable only for the Base model BMWs (Pre 2019 or RAM) that do not wish to add separate tweeters. The CSB4.2X Coaxial speakers are fitted to the front and rear doors, our Musway 2ohm subwoofers CSB-8W and our Musway M6v3 DSP 6 channel amplifier, to make it all work, the Pre 2019 BASE Wiring kit (inclusive of the plug and play split wiring for the subwoofers to be separated onto their own channel from the door speakers) or the MPK-BMWM6-RAM kit is supplied. The MW6.3KIT amplifier fitting kit is provided to the RAM kit due to the greater distance from the battery on the OEM wiring alone.
Stage 7 is the same as stage 5 but with added rear coaxial speakers makng it a full system and our top Musway BMW audio upgrade kit.
